Just wanted to plug a longtime Uptown restaurant -- the Siam Noodle and Rice.
It's a great Thai restuarant that has been around for years. They have the best thai ice coffee & tea, and their dishes are great. Their neighbor, the Siam Cafe, has the more impressive looing restaurant, but the food wasn't as good, and they are selling the building anyway.
They have been hit hard by the economy. One of our favorite waitresses, Nee, let us know a few weeks back that they've had to rotate people off of the schedule due to a slowing of business.
We were there last Sunday, and business was actually really good, but just wanted to give an extra plug, in case you haven't tried it.
