Buena Pumpkin Neighbors, our annual monitored Halloween Trick-or-Treating extravaganza. Homes will be decorated and candy bowls stuffed with treats on
Saturday, October 31, 2009, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Kenmore Avenue between Irving Park Road (4000) and Montrose Avenue (4400), including the 1000 block
of West Buena Avenue. Additionally, National Pastime Theater will coordinate actors to "haunt" Buena Circle Play lot. The 18 year old National
Pastime Theater (4139 N. Broadway) is noted for being a haunted former speakeasy and is on the Chicago Ghost Investigators tour. * * * HELP MAKE BUENA PUMPKIN
NEIGHBORS '09 ANOTHER BLOWOUT SUCCESS! Buena Park is well known in Uptown as "THE" place for Halloween. We hope you'll consider lending a
hand with this fantastic neighborhood event! Sponsors: Give your support! Response needed ASAP Help support this amazing volunteer-run, kid-loved,
parent-approved community event! We are still looking for additional sponsors to help cover the costs of safety glow sticks, decorations, equipment, live
entertainment, and volunteer supplies. All sponsors will be acknowledged in our upcoming email blasts about the event, on print flyers about the event posted

7:00-9:00pm Buena Park Neighbors will continue the tradition of collecting CANDY DONATIONS on Thursday, October 22nd from 7:00 pm. To 9:00 p.m. at
Michael's Pizzeria & Tavern (4091 N. Broadway). Please stop by if you'd like to make a candy donation for our goody bags to be distributed at Buena
Circle Park on Halloween! No RSVPs needed, and everyone's welcome to stay and chat with BPN board members about what's happening and how to get
involved in our neighborhood! Kenmore Residences: Decorate and delight! If you reside on Kenmore (between Irving and Montrose) and you and/or your neighbors
plan to hand out candy to our little neighborhood ghouls and guys, please contact BPN's Great Pumpkinette, Ellen Feinberg, at elf13@rcn.com, so we can mark
your building. We've had over 300 children in each recent year, and we need your help to attract even more trick-or-treaters this year! Additionally, on
Halloween night, BPN will bestow its third annual "2009 George Ferak Halloween Decorations Award" to the most BOOTIFULLY decorated condo
building/home. Get your neighbors together and get creative! Volunteers: Lend a hand on Sat, Oct. 31st from 4:30-7:15pm If you're interested in
participating as a costumed safety monitor (ok, costumes are NOT required, but they really do make it more fun) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., please also
